October Toys

Friends, family, and fans,

After 12 amazing years, we have decided it's time to explore new projects and opportunities outside of October Toys. We are so thankful for all of the incredible people we have met and friends we have made though this chapter of our toy lives. There is no way to say thank you enough to the people that have become family to us and to each and every fan who has supported our projects over the years.

Having been in business for over a decade, of course we've had our ups and downs with October Toys, but we count the whole experience as a success with half a dozen successful Kickstarter campaigns, dozens of designer toy projects produced, hundreds of hours of Toy Break, and so many awesome conventions that we've lost count!

This is is not a goodbye though! Although we will not be working under the name October Toys any more, we are still hanging around and working in the independent toy scene on a variety of exciting new projects. George is continuing to sculpt, now under the company name of DoubleG Toys. He has been a regular on the Marsham Toy Hour podcast, and is part of the new Toy Geeks channel at ToyGeeks.com. Ayleen is currently running two conventions - Bricks LA (a LEGO® fan convention in January in Pasadena, CA) and CurioCon (a weekend full of toys, art, events, and more in May in Pasadena, CA). She is also working with her new company Playful Workshop and continuing to produce Toy Break with an all new format which will be debuting in March. We look forward to hopefully collaborating on more projects together in the future and, schedules allowing, talking toys online :)

We are keeping a pared-down version of the October Toys site live as reference for collectors and of course you can follow whatever we're up to online via social media.
Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything and we look forward to our next adventure!
